Steve Sharp's musical career began at an early age. The trumpet has long been a part of his life. He attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Performance and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Steve has performed with such outstanding artists as: The Moody Blues & Roger Daultry at the Mann Music Center, Bobby Vinton, Marvin Hamlisch, the Dovells, Don Rickels, Rich Little, Bowser, and Motown Artists at Madison Square Garden, NY. His accomplishments also include performances on Pennsylvania State Lottery commercials, NFL Film Awards, Don King Enterprises and Miss America events. When not performing with DEB, his rich and brilliant trumpet can be heard in the tri-state area with many notable Philadelphia-based musicians.

The Don Eaton Band
Don Eaton Band has some of the most talented and gifted musicians and entertainers from Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Wilmington and Baltimore. We have performed for more than two thousand events including weddings, parties, corporate events and major fund raisers throughout Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, NYC, Atlantic City. Baltimore, Washington DC, Wilmington DE and South Jersey.
It’s no wonder that Don Eaton Band was awarded Best of Philadelphia Wedding Bands in the 2010 Bride’s Survey by The Knot. DEB members performed on Grammy nominated recordings for major record labels and toured the world while performing with major recording artists such as the Grammy Award Winning group The Fugees, Jodeci, Faith Evans, Elton John, Melissa Manchester, Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Grover Washington Jr, Johnny Mathis, Billy Paul, Esther Satterfield, B.B. King, Earth Wind and Fire, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius, Sammy Davis Jr, Ben Vereen, among countless others as described in our bios. The collection of talent we have assembled as the Don Eaton Band has been second to none in the greater Philadelphia area for well over 15 years. |
