Rob is the senior member of the Don Eaton Band. His performance on upright and electric basses in addition to his unique lead vocal styles make him an invaluable asset to the band. Rob is also a prolific writer/composer, arranger, and recording artist who has two CDs titled ‘Terra Soul Project’ and ‘My Basic Hats’ - released on his own label, and available at robswansonmusic.com.

The Don Eaton Band
Don Eaton Band has some of the most talented and gifted musicians and entertainers from Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Wilmington and Baltimore. We have performed for more than two thousand events including weddings, parties, corporate events and major fund raisers throughout Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, NYC, Atlantic City. Baltimore, Washington DC, Wilmington DE and South Jersey.
It’s no wonder that Don Eaton Band was awarded Best of Philadelphia Wedding Bands in the 2010 Bride’s Survey by The Knot. DEB members performed on Grammy nominated recordings for major record labels and toured the world while performing with major recording artists such as the Grammy Award Winning group The Fugees, Jodeci, Faith Evans, Elton John, Melissa Manchester, Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Grover Washington Jr, Johnny Mathis, Billy Paul, Esther Satterfield, B.B. King, Earth Wind and Fire, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius, Sammy Davis Jr, Ben Vereen, among countless others as described in our bios. The collection of talent we have assembled as the Don Eaton Band has been second to none in the greater Philadelphia area for well over 15 years. |
